Yung Gleesh On The Road Freestyle
I’m really looking forward to Gleesh’s next tape Cleanside’s Finest II. This freestyle or live performance of this sounds really sinister, which is somewhat different from what we usually hear from Boogie. I’ve seen progression in his recent features as well as the first leak off the tape, My Life Is A Cartoon.
In another video, Gleesh acts like his usual goofy self and shows off his twitter timeline. He then asks, “What kind of Gleesh are you?”

Yung Gleesh - Self Titled Mixtape (2011)
You probably remember Yung Gleesh from my constant raving and ranting. You may or may not have heard his mixtape ‘Cleanside’s Finest’, which is one of my favorite tapes of the year. His video for ‘Skrong’ was featured on the Fader a month or two ago and since then eyes have been peeled. After doing some doing searching on the net I came across his debut mixtape which features some very great songs.
The opening track entitled ‘Promotions’ is a energetic joint produced by Dolan Beats. He apathetically brags about how he stole all the beats on the mixtape from Datpiff..
Another standout joint is ‘Schoolboy’, which you might have seen the video for. Teaming up with Slutty Boyz member Meatchi, the two go on to spit about bullshiting around school, fighting, and drug dealing.

DC hard hitters Yung Gleesh & Meatchi spit some smooth shit over a Dolan banger. Yung Gleesh particularly fukks the beat up with his complex slang and strong (or is it skrong?) versatile flow.
